Hello and welcome! I’m Stacy, owner of Mint Piper. I live in North Carolina, but the beauty of both sides of my work is that I can help people regardless of how far away from me they may be. ![](https://www.mintpiper.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/IMG_2460-576x1024.jpg)
I served in the United States Air Force between 2001 and 2005. While I did not serve in any exotic locations, the Air Force brought me to North Carolina, and I’ve been here ever since (mostly) as my husband was born and raised here. He is also a veteran, though he served in the Army.
After leaving the military, I was a stay at home mother for several years. I eventually went to college and obtained an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology. Jobs in that field are somewhat scarce and fiercely competitive where I am, so I bided my time for a bit working in retail. The opportunity to work as a remote office administrator presented itself, and the flexibility that afforded me while also allowing me to do work I enjoyed and excelled at was too good to pass up. While I am still working with that company, I knew I had the ability to expand my services; thus, Mint Piper Management was born in 2020. I have always loved reading, writing, researching, and helping people; that along with my technological and organizational skills has made me well suited for the original company vision.
However, creative projects have always been a passion of mine. I’ve let my imagination run wild for as long as I can remember, starting with elaborate Lego builds and appropriating my mother’s craft supplies to create new items for my dolls. As a teenager, writing and photography were my creative outlets of choice, and I took every class my high school offered that would help me hone those skills. As an adult, I’ve dabbled in many different creative mediums. I get so excited about trying out new projects that I can’t stick to just one specialty. The second branch of Mint Piper has come to fruition with my Etsy shop, allowing me to continue my creative pursuits and share them with others.
